I don’t think I can truly convey to any of you guys just how absolutely incredible of a week it has been for music; especially electronic in music. I don’t think I could cap off today’s posts with a much better one. I proudly present to you all, the latest release from Tipper. If you don’t know about Tipper, then sit back, crank up these tunes and educate yourself; it’s about time you found out about him. It’s really, really tough to classify the UK producer into one genre, because not only do his individual releases not really fall into a particular category, but his sound has simply just evolved so much over the years. His style has ranged from ambient to glitch and all over the map; although, he is currently in a very glitch-hop/bass-heavy phase. His latest release, the Shatter Box EP, unquestionably fits this description. And still, in a world where electronic music seems to be dominated by bass heavy sounds, Dave Tipper has still emerged as one of the most intricate and developed sounds in the genre. It’s been a while since there’s been an electronic album that was this worth you money. Enjoy!
